Building Community Ambassadors
Our program connects athletes to local charities orcommunity organizations, teaching them to become ambassadors. Participants learn about the organization's mission and needs, enhancing their understanding of social responsibility.
We provide structured guidance for athletes to plan and execute events that benefit their chosen charities. This includes identifying the cause, planning the event, setting goals, and mobilizing resources. By engaging in these activities, athletes develop leadership and organizational skills, making a tangible impact on their communities.
The 10-20-30 Project emphasizes in-person learning through stories, exercises, and group discussions. We also leverage innovative delivery platforms to ensure accessibility and participation for all athletes, regardless of location.
Post-event, we review the athletes' impact, reflecting on their contributions and learning experiences. This process plants the seed for lifelong community involvement, showing how the skills learned through sports can continue to benefit their communities.
While planning and executing their community event athletes will be learning skills to positively impact their sports, communities, and cities over the next 10, 20, 30 years.
10 Years From Now
This is about short-term goals. Athletes should think about being coaches, referees, or volunteers.
20 Years From Now
In the future we want them to be coaches, referees, serve on boards, or mentor others in their community.
30 Years From Now
In the long term, we want them to be senior coaches, referees, and mentors, work on important boards, and make their communities better.
